The OTTER "Bergmann" is more than just a knife - it is a tribute to the artisan traditions and innovations of the region around Solingen. This compact pocket knife combines past and present and is the perfect everyday companion for anyone who values quality and history.

Inspired by the historic weaver's knife, one of the first OTTER models, the miner's carbon steel blade is particularly finely shaped and is reminiscent of the delicate cutting work in the textile and ribbon weaving mills of the Bergisches Land region. The rounded handle made of deep black ebony refers to the coal of the Ruhr region, while the copper veins in the fat carbon bolsters are reminiscent of geological formations in coal seams.

Handcrafted in Solingen, Germany's city of blades, the Bergmann embodies the diverse roots of the region and is also a functional, stylish companion.
