Could you customize it? No. Customizing these instruments is not possible. I have a temperature sensor / oil pressure sensor to measure the temperature / oil pressure. Can I use the sensor work with the motosign? No. The motosign cannot measure anything. There is no microprocessor nor software in it. You can only use it with switching sensors like oil pressure switch, idle gear switch etc. I have a fuel tank reserve indicator light and the sensor is not a switch. It is a variable resistor (e.g. Ducati, Yamaha). Can I use it with the LEDs? Yes, maybe. It depends on your vehicle and your sensor. Try to connect a ballast resistor of about 80 Ohm and 3-5 Watts PARALLEL to the LED - not in series. How long is the cable? Please see the specs at the product page. Is it possible to join all negative poles (cathode side) to simplify the wiring? Not always. It depends whether the sensors and signals that you want to indicate all have the same polarity - or rather, the switches are wired with the same polarity. Some switches may be positive, others negative. Because you have LEDs in the motosign the polarity is very important. Check this before you connect anything. |
